Freddie Gibbs: Cold Day In Hell

This is the new mixtape from the Jeezy affiliate Freddie Gibbs. He's a big name in the south so this one is worth keeping an eye out for.

Tracklist:

1. Barely M.A.D.E. It
2. Rob Me A Nigga (feat. Alley Boy)
3. 187 Proof
4. Anything To Survive (feat. Freeway & Sly Polaroid)
5. 2′s & Fews (feat. Young Jeezy)
6. Gotta Let Ya Nuts Hang (feat. Scrilla)
- Grimy song title here haha. Arkatech is on the beat on this one. Freddie shows his typrical short, but deep lines such as: "doin' wrong is my rite of passage." Skrilla (his labelmate) shows a nice flow here. #Trapmuzik right here. Favorite Song!!!
7. Let ‘Em Burn - The Olympics cooks up a very bouncy beat for this track. This is a lot more mainstream and upbeat than the usual Gibbs song, but he keeps it southern and adapts well. Gibbs flows his ass off on that second verse
8. B.A.N.ned - Freddie has a series of nice songs in a row. He and Cardo are actually a perfect match. Cardo's simplistic beats match perfectly with Gibbs's aggressive flow. Really feelin' this track. Gibbs is really keepin' it trill on this beat.
9. My Homeboy’s Girlfriend
10. PSA 2 (Pussy So Amazin)
11. Natural High
12. Str8 Slammin (feat. Juicy J)
13. Menace II Society (feat. Dom Kennedy)
14. Neighborhood Hoes (feat. 2 Chainz) - Not gonna lie, 2 Chainz outperformed Gibbs here. Probably the best verse I've ever heard from 2 Chainz. He does something different with his voice that actually makes him interesting to listen to. He also speeds up his flow which helps. My only flaw with Freddie is that he can get monotone and boring. And he's both on this track. The beat is dope though and that featured verse makes up for Gibbs's lack of energy. Oh, and Gibbs does a lyrically great verse by the way aha!
15. Heaven Can Wait
16. My Dogz
