James Wade really became a big name for me after I heard his mixtape “Popular Stranger” way back in 2010. “Smile” and “On My Way” were my shit! Wade continues his excellent production choices on this track. Wade gets introspective about his life as a youth. Really good storytelling from him on this one. Also, Devon Wade (his brother) kicks rhymes along side James. He’s not quite as good as an emcee as James. It’s really cool to hear two siblings talk about there different routes through life to get to the point they’re at, especially considering they came from the same household.
