If you don't know who 40 and Short are and you're from where I'm from, then you're an embarrassment to the Bay Area. As for Rafael Saadiq, he's got one of the smoothest voices in R&B. Reminds me of Smokey Robinson or somethin. I swear, the dude could be from the 70's or something with the style of his music. Go look him up. He's awesome.
